If that’s the case, you’ve come to the right place. I have always believed that the smallest of changes lead to the biggest of outcomes. You ought to make some changes to make your life more fulfilling and rewarding.

It’s time to have a look at 14 super-easy and quick ways to improve life with less time and effort.

The simple act of smiling can not only improve mood but also have a positive effect on those around you. It reduces anxiety and stress by releasing endorphins a.k.a happy hormones that make you look more attractive and approachable.

2. Set up and stick to a routine

If your days don’t have any structure, things are bound to get messy and chaotic. Organize your day by setting up a simple yet effective routine. When you know what is supposed to be done when, you tend to complete work on time.

3. Get moving

With every passing day make sure your body is becoming better and stronger. Don’t neglect your body while chasing other things. If you have a super-busy job and a hectic schedule, start exercising for only 10–15 minutes.

Apart from improving your digestive health, it balances cholesterol levels, maintains cardiovascular health, and increases lifespan. On the top of it, you get optimum energy levels and boost in your overall productivity.

7. Drop that ego

Oftentimes, having an inflated ego could deprive you of basic sanity and lead to inexplicable shallowness in life. When you think that everything revolves around you, you might be restricting your growth and relationships.

The moment you drop that ego and brush off the air, people will start treating you differently and more warmly. This might open new opportunities and avenues for you — both personally and professionally.

8. Read that book

9. Go outdoors

It could be tiring to be sitting in front of a computer screen and working all day long. Take small breaks after every hour or two. Going out and getting some fresh air could do wonders for your health and efficiency.

Make a point to connect with nature and rejuvenate in its serene surroundings. Plan a picnic, trek, or hike at least once a month.

10. Spend more time with your loved ones

It is always enjoyable to be in the company of those we love and admire deeply. Even spending an hour or two with your loved ones could take away all the fatigue and tiredness.

Try not to have any professional commitments during weekends and spend some quality time with your spouse, kids, parents, friends, and others.

11. Become realistic and practical

Expectations are a big reason that causes distress and grief for many. Your life will automatically change for good when you stop expecting things from others (including family and friends).

Give all your love and support to them but don’t do it to get it back from them. Become practical and self-sufficient so that your happiness doesn’t depend on others.

12. Don’t be too rigid

It’s good to be flexible. Sticking to a set of rules or preconceived notions will make you rigid. When you become too rigid, you might start restricting your growth and happiness

Always be open to new ideas and opinions. It will make your life simpler and will expand your horizons by making you more knowledgeable.

Don’t become too busy chasing ‘things’ in life that you start taking people in your life for granted. They play an important part in your life and should be given the importance they deserve.
